So excited that I am already packing my bags for the buying trip, for my very first range the shop stop is the vibrant Rajasthan, the land with the brightest colour palette and beauty spilling in its every detail..
For those who have not been to Rajasthan I am putting some pics from internet, I know its a cheat but I will put mine when I am back from the trip and... also watch out this space for updates on my menu of home products with the real taste of India!! ; )

Happy Chaos
As soon as I read this beautiful article by Karen Gibbs in a magazine called 'Hand Eye'. I knew I had to share this with you guys!!
Its a peek into the lives traditional african beading and sewing artisans. I really appreciate the spirit of Adri Shutz, the founder of 'Mielie' and her mission to create value in her life and others!! She is a hope for people who want to start there own business (like me) as Adri started Mielie in her dining room table and without any business training!!
I am truly inspired by her quote; ' If we don't find ways of improving people's lives, it will affect us negatively. If we do, it gives everyone involved nourishment, learning. And purpose.'
check out the whole article here Happy Chaos and you can also check the wonderful website www.mielie.com.

whatever happens over a cup of coffee..
I really like the idea of inherited furniture pieces and revamping them to go with your room décor. For those like me who may not inherit vintage furniture can try getting some great deals at auctions! On telly I have seen some old unloved pieces getting restored and transformed into unique designs. Like the revamped arm chair in flower pattern fabric in this pic..
Even the distress look eggshell coloured cupboard is awesome (personally I would have preferred a darker colour maybe a tweety yellow or an indigo blue)...
Here are some of the pictures I really liked from the House Beautiful 'june issue'...
(apologies for my not so great photography!!)
Happy sunday everyone..enjoy!!
